Fishhead -- I think the real mystery here is why the bluegill will reproduce, but the largemouth bass won't. In central Iowa, why would that happen? Let's have the forum folks discuss that. Is the pond water muddy? Any submergent aquatic plants (not the cattails, but the rooted, underwater plants)?
