4-inches is about 0.33 feet, so 0.33x15x25 = 125 cubic ft
125 ft3/27 ft3/yd = 4.6 round off, about 5 yards.

chris is right on.
here's some more fuzz for ya rainman,
when guessing tonnage from volume we typically use a factor of 1.3 to 1.5 depending on type of soil and degree of moisture.....so about 5 yards of sand could weigh anywhere from about 6 to 8 ton.
