From your conversation with him, once the pond is drained, dried and dam face inspected; I am sure you will both want to discuss what is found on the dam face and proceed accordingly. It sounds like a good and logical initial step. I doubt the pond will get dried out until late summer if weather patterns remain consistent. Price per hr. sounds correct for the southeast.
