Small perch up to 11 inches or so only blow out short segments from my experience. The way those are winding around they seem to be fairly long.

But you have a point. These may not be a large as they look due to nothing for reference in the picture.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
