HSB (Hybrid Striped Bass) and Wipers are the same critter just a different nomenclature. They are more of an open water species and would do better if shad were present but would probably do OK with small BG.

Bullhead, do you have a profile of the sizes of BG that you have? Are there any year classes missing? or are there all sorts of BG year classes present? 1-2" 2-3" 3-4" 4-5" 5-6" 6-7" 7-8"? Any year classes missing or more abundant than others. This will give you a clue on how your predators are doing controlling them and the sizes they are eating.

We had a long stretch in my dad's old pond where BG in the 2" to 9" size were noticeably absent due to an overabundance of LMB.
