How about wipers, as opposed to HSB?
From further fishing in this pond I seem to have no lack of small BG.

HSB (Hybrid Striped Bass) and Wipers are the same critter just a different nomenclature. They are more of an open water species and would do better if shad were present but would probably do OK with small BG.

Bullhead, do you have a profile of the sizes of BG that you have? Are there any year classes missing? or are there all sorts of BG year classes present? 1-2" 2-3" 3-4" 4-5" 5-6" 6-7" 7-8"? Any year classes missing or more abundant than others. This will give you a clue on how your predators are doing controlling them and the sizes they are eating.

We had a long stretch in my dad's old pond where BG in the 2" to 9" size were noticeably absent due to an overabundance of LMB.

Virtually every BG we have caught were in the 3-4 inch range. I think we caught perhaps one (of about 35) over that.

You might have a stunted BG population with a very low density of LMB, if that's the case you could have good numbers of 6-8 lb bass that fall asleep with their mouths open and wake up full. They will be tough to catch though.

High numbers of 3-4" BG could be surpressing LMB recruitment into the popluation.

Bullhead, keep sampling, until the water temps start getting up around 60 degrees or better I would be a little hesitant to trust your current results. Your bigger BG could still be out in deeper open water right now.

We are stocking a lake/pond with Tiger Bass. We put the feeder fish in today. I'd like to create a logbook to manage the water quality, environment, fish sizes etc. Does anyone know of where to purchase a book made specifically to record these kind of things? If you make a book yourself, what are some good categories to include. We are new to this hobby. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I make my own up like Theo said using a spread sheet. Then you can customize exactly what you want on it...
