Has anyone used the moultrie Feedcaster? Just wondering if anyone had one. I have a texas hunter feeder and want to add another feeder but i really don't want to spend 700.00 on another texas hunter right now.

I have one of the Moultrie Pro Feedcasters with the 30 gallon plastic drums. It is a directional feeder and I added a solar panel to recharge the battery and it seems to work fine. I have had it for almost a year now. I think it cost about $150 when I got it last year. I needed to go cheap and decided to give it a try and it has continued to work so far.

good to here that you haven't had any problems with it. I know Texas Hunter are the best feeders out there and but they are expensive. However I know from experience that you get what you pay for with fish feeders. I just can't make up my mind if I want to buy another one this year. My ponds 5 acres so I think I need at least 2 feeders running.

I have one and am letting a friend use it right now. It is really easy to setup. You can feed up to 6 times a day and set it to go off whenever you want. I would get the solar charger if you go with this feeder.
