Sounds like a neat lake/pond. Lusk had a long answer to the crappie situation and what the chances are in a recent Pond Boss Magazine. I think it was in the Q & A portion. Anybody remember what issue that was?

Here's the bottom line. You just might be successful with crappie in 5 acres or you might lose. The big, big odds are; sooner or later you're gonna hate crappie. But, it's your pond. I expect it will be an interesting experiment. If you change your mind in the future, there are chemical fixes as long as the AG doesn't find out.


It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
