I use a Moultrie feeder. 2 years now and not a problem. Battery powered. Have had to charge battery one time in 2 years. Feed four times a day at 4 hour intervals 10sec/per. For 200.00 bucks, I'm satisfied.

Both.I dont know the brand offhand, but I bought it from Greg,so if its REAL important,I can call him and he can have his secretary go back 2-3 years and find out. Then she'll be ticked and jack him around. Then he'll be ticked and talk nasty to me when he calls back. Then I wont get a discount, but get overcharged the next time I buy something from him.But thats OK,I'll do all this if you REALLY need to know.

Tom probably not but 1.5 years ago when you bought it. It was when the cheaper Ba products ( makers of aquapro aka stren) came out with paddlewheel style feeder. You did not like the leg design I remember that. I have yet to get that feeder to work moe than two months without a jam. I hope condello chimes in b/c I know he has tried many styles over the years.

I have a feeder that throws out a mixture of three different sizes of Aquamax twice a day. Then when I am at the pond and I want to watch them feed or see how active they are I will throw out a couple handfulls.

My feeder was jamming when I only used the small feed and I also wanted something larger for the adult BG, that is why I mix.

I have two brands, both worked well. Of course after tuning in on the Pond Pros and Purina I need to start throwing some by hand in another area. I have always both hand fed and feeder but unfortunately got in the habit of doing it in one location and watched it go from fathead feeding frenzy, to bluegill frenzy and now catfish...so I think I will setup both feeders on different times at two opposite locations. Small feed does seem to jam as like any feed you get crumbles and stuff so you do need to clean them out ever so often.

Hand feed but am buying 5 Sweeney and Texas Hunters this Spring. Everything I hear from Condello and Banks have been 100% positive on both brands.
