Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations Are Dark Green "Globuals" Frog Eggs?

I've been gone a while, so HEY everyone... With my Aquaview Scout camera, I am seeing masses of these round, dark green globuals about an inch+ or so big. They are at varying depths, but mostly mid-depth (10') to shallow. There are "beds" of them, mostly in one area, but also scattered here and there individually. Frog eggs or weeds maybe? Thanks!

Sounds like jelly blobs (bryozoans) to me too.

It is an indication of very good water quality (if it's bryozoans).

Remember that Lusk is a bryozoan.

Bryozoans eh? That's a new one for me, and yes, the water is VERY well balanced rain run-off. Now that I think about it, when the pond draw-down happened last year, I did notice an almost black-green, gelitous mat of these balls just above the water line. They are really slippery too.
