[quote=george1]George, How do you manage such magnificent rainbow in a warm climate? I'm in a far cooler climate, and I can only keep trout in my pond from about mid-October to early June. They only grow a few inches during that time. If I put 12-inch trout into the pond in October, I get 14 inch trout in May, and they've eaten a lot of pellets by then.
Thanks, Ken
Hi Ken, I believe that I got good of growth due to pond full of late CNBG spawn, because they got off of pellets and couldnt be caught until last week on Stubby flies. Dont know any other reason because feeder off most of the time during this period.
I stocked 25 trout early winter in acre pond from Overton, who supplies them to customers for fun and food fishin, until they are either caught or will die late spring.
Gotta have to start fishin.!
