Evan Eastman hit the ground 2/20/09. 10 pounds 8 ounces and 22 inches long. His Mom is 60 inches long so he must have pretty well wadded up in there. Mom, Dad and older Brother are doing fine. Great Grandpa is surviving the ordeal nicely and looking for a trip to the Seattle area in the summer. While there, I'll probably buy him a brand new Red Ryder which I give all of my Grandkids at birth. Who knows, I might see rain while I'm there.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Just to be clear, it's 'Great' Grandpa, right?

Congrats Dave! Congrats Gramps ! Isn't Shorty's folks relocated up in that neck of the woods in the pondmeister's witness protection program? Yep Brettski that is where they are at, the "Hundred Days of Darkness", aka as winter, are almost over for those residing in the Seattle area.

Thanks all. A couple of other small details. He was a week overdue and she passed up inducing. She also did it natural with no pain blockers. That little gal is tough. Oh yeah; Dad is 6' 4" tall.

Initially I thought you were bragging about getting the new mag first. Then I realized you had a lot more to brag about than being first with the mailman.
When it gets about 110F in the metromess go up to the NW and get a good soaking. While you are there be sure to get wrapped around a 6 mth old's finger - which you will be soon enough.

I also want my cuban especially for trying to fool us with the title of this thread.
That's my job, or at least the job of some of my PA brothers.

Congrats Dave. I know that many of us are envious of your luncheons, but I really enjoy reading about the planning and the photos etc of the actual lunch/meeting. Is that weird??
Just do it...

TOM G, you know, you can make it anytime. I just have to let my fingers to the walking and BAM, you are free from the fetters of employment.

I agree with Rmedgar, I'm jealous of these luncheons. Although I must admit I had no idea that they enjoyed DD1's weed, kidnapped cubans, and then sat down to a plate full of BBQ or Tex Mex. And they say Californian's are a goofy bunch. Oh well, you know the old saying, when in Texas.....

Must be some kind of inside joke on what the Guv is bringing to the table for lunch.
