If memory serves, It had just a little red around the edge. We was po' folk back then, and used a disposable camera on that shot. Those pics don't do it much justice at all. The thing is, most people think a bluegill is a bluegill. They all seem to get bunched into one basket. (or a perch is a perch) Putting a punkinseed against a hybrid or (true) Bluegill aint a fair fight!
