Sad to report that our fishing has been slow, poor, and mostly a skunk-fest.
My biggest bass of 2009 has been 15 1/2 inches - that is basically one of the smallest bass I've ever caught from my pond. (Probably ranks as about the 3rd smallest.)
We've caught about 6 nice crappie and 2 BG.
This is the report from about 12 fishing trips - not all on our own pond because we fish about 6 different ponds. But, our pond is yielding about the same as all the others - little to nothing.
Water temps have yet to hit 50 but they are creeping up.
If you're too scared to throw that bait where the fish are, why did you tie it on?
