That is one good sized Tshad.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I think they may both be gizzard shad and I may not have threadfin shad in my pond like I had previously thought. More cast netting is needed to look for shad in the pond. I had no luck on Ray Roberts this week and so Texoma is next for trying to find some threadfin shad for transport. Has anyone seen shad on either lake recently?

I also live about ten minutes or less from Lake Ray Roberts and was also planing on transporting tshad from lake ray roberts. I did not know that tshad where that delicate your post really helped.

Has anyone tried clove oil to sedate the fish while in transport? Supposedly, it greatly reduces the stress of fish while in transport.
