I'm still working on determining the best habitat for scuds. I now have two species of plants that are present with high numbers of scuds - watercress and coontail (ref.Wood). I have yet to grow large numbers of scuds. I am actively persuing it again this year. I do know they require underwater vegetation. I am not sure how much fish predation pressure they will tolerate. I think some fish thin the numbers more than others. Im still on the low end of the learning curve. Stay tuned.
