If you find and air vent hole on top of the dam dig it out, it should be the size of a tennis ball, the air vent hole we discovered was 25-30ft from the water line and on the very top of the dam. The beaver we had then put a "T" in his tunnel at the air vent hole and the holes at the "T" ran another 30 ft in each direction paralleling the dam. The next big rain we had after that brought the water level up enough to pop a hole through the top of the dam where the beaver had done his tunneling. Did I mention that I hate beavers? ![whistle](/forums/images/graemlins/default/whistle.gif)

I am off to check the traps. I will report back later with pics of lodge, dam, damn holes (yes spelled correctly), and HOPEFULLY a couple of dead beavers. Wish me luck fellas. Once again thank you to Mr Steelman for his assistance.
