Iowa hunting was tons of fun! I almost got my dad to pull the trigger on a nice 8 pointer, but he just couldnt do it. (he has never been deer hunting before and did not want to miss)
I also almost got my father- in law to shoot his first deer, but he missed.
My uncle, cousins, and gpa went with their group on their annual deer drive and 22 guys got 17 deer on opening morning.
I hunted sat, sun, mon and tues. I saw over 130 deer, 150 turkeys, and shot a coyote with a hangun! I almost had a crack at a 160"+ class buck, but he just wouldnt get close enough. I killed several does for my gpa and passed on plenty of smaller bucks.
My mom and dad only hunted one evening due to the cold weather, but they had alot of fun and are looking forward to next year as well!
