Agreed Theo. This was written, I assume, by a State Biologist. However, I have seldom found a consensus from any of them.
I have no idea why they would be wrong for bass but OK for catfish ponds.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
