INCREDIBLE work Cecil!!!! I would bid on a MOUNTED GSF!!!! GSF are like snakes.........MUCH better to admire their truly beautiful colors when dead! Bring on that deathstar......I've got full-body tin foil!

Guys thanks for the kind words but I don't consider myself a "true artist." This can be learned albeit in my case it's taken 24 years and I'm still learning.  I have a niece that graduated from a fine arts college. I could only dream to be able to do the things she does. I agree about the artist thing Cecil, but in my opinion you are a fine craftsman.

How many hours would you say this took you from start to finish?
12 ac pond in NW Missouri. 28' max depth at full pool. Fish Present: LMB, BG, RES, YP, CC, WB, HSB, WE, BCP, WCP, GSH.

I dont need to comment. I already told Cecil he was going to mount my 1st pond raised 2# male and 1.25 # female bluegill.
Hang in there, Cecil. It will happen before the 10# Minisota bass.

Call Cecil what you will, artist, craftsman, whatever, all you have to do is see the photos in this thread, let alone see his work in person and you will realize that he has amazing talent. There is a reason why people seek him out to learn taxidermy.
Oh and I'm ignoring the GSF comment but I'm also recalibrating the Deathstar's tracking system to detect people sized foil objects. Fair warning.
