Pond Boss Forums AERATION Systems questions Supercooling fish to death

I haven't done it with aeration, Justin, but at the tail end of last Winter we had three separate supercooling-inducing weather events (2x temps below freezing with winds too high to allow pond to ice over lasting more than one day, 1x 15" of snow falling into the open water of the pond) that caused me to lose a number of large RES. All three of these dropped the temp of the pond down, like over-aerating in deep water but without the electric bill.
