That's what happens when a fish is growing at a very rapid rate. The fins don't keep up. I have pellet fed largemouths like this too.

I have caught bluegills in a local musky lake that had their tails bit off. Seemed to conpensate just fine.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
