Well, if I'm not mistaken Rotenone is made from the roots of plants.
Cindy's new pond has fish that came up from the creek before the dam was finished. The people just upstream from us made a pond (unauthorized) on the creek and I think they stocked it (and the creek) with crappie. I know I don't want crappie in this pond. Eventually I'll probably stock most of the native local fish, but I want to do it in a somewhat controlled way. I am aware that LMB are indigenous to my area...
