The only problem with well water is the lack of oxygen. Actually, Weissguy has a filtered pipe in his pond at about 18' (cold water) that runs to a 15,000 gallon tank that gravity feeds the raceway pits. It was set up to supply water to what was a hog facility.
The other problem for me is, that my raising fish would be considered a conflict of interest. One of the many benefits of working for the state.
