I have found 3 dead catfish in the pond the last couple days. I am not sure why. I don't mind all that much because I think I may have put too many in. I am curious as to why the died and I hope it doesn't show a bigger problem.

How long have the cats been in?

I didn't see any marks. I put 22 about a quarter acre pond.

Post catch mort somewhat delayed after relocation. Hopefully the last one.
I had a 9" BG drop dead 10 days after catching him and moving him to my basement for the Winter. He had a hook inside the mouth that I cut the line on, but no apparent bleeding. Just didn't make it.
