4 ticks IN A YEAR?

4 per day is nuthin', here.

We must not be doing something right here in the southern tip of Illinois. We don't have all that many wood ticks but we more than make up for them in deer ticks. Hell, I can't even sit at my picnic table for 10 min without plucking a few of them in the nymph stage off my legs. Between our county and the one to the east we have had over 30 cases of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever since July. I make my kids spray with bug juice just to go outside and play in the yard and they still get one or two one them. Never thought I would look forward to the first good frost.
