this winter i will be keeping some perch in a small pool with a diameter of 8' and a depth of 33". i will have this pool in the barn. i live in north texas, but i still would like to have high water tempatures to keep the bluegill active. does anyone know of a way to keep the water warm. There are special submersible heaters available complete with thermostats. One place to look would be Aquatic Ecosystems. They should have a link here.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
