Good points & ideas. I couldn't make it this year for numerous reasons. I have attended lots of professional conferences, and for its worth, the ones that are held every other year are usually better (longer time to assimilate new info & results, don't get burned-out, more likely to not miss it since it won't come around for another 2 years, easier on the bank account, etc). I figured I throw that in since it is a brainstorming session.
