This is the new feeder I installed this summer. It never clogs and uses little electricity but isn't the most efficient. Occasionally it throws pellets down my shirt, onto the dock, into the mouths of my eagerly awaiting labs and it is difficult to meter rations but overall does a pretty decent job.

Does it come in camo?

Not until fall. It will come with updated targeting software but the fully automatic features won't be available for about 4 years. I am currently working on programing to differentiate gravel from pellets, however gravel does appear to be increasing WR.

I had a couple like that. At least they never get clogged up.

I hear those feeders work great for about 16 years (sometimes more sometimes less depending on when they start driving)

I had a feeder like that once. Mine worked great for the first twelve years.

At the beginning of the 13th year I think a screw came loose in my feeder. Suddenly the feeder only wanted to throw feed when it felt like it.

In the 15th year I'm fairly sure that the circuit board had a malfunction. The feeder began rebelling against throwing feed all together. The feeder thought it was smarter than every other feeder. The feeder began questioning my pond management decisions.

At 16 the feeder got some wheels. That's when the feed really hit the fan. Nothing worse than a mobile feeder, you are constantly worried about where the feeder is and what the feeder is up to.

At 17 or so the feeder began bringing home other feeders. Jeez was that a difficult time. Some of the feeders that were brought home you just knew were up to no good.

And expensive, dang, everytime I turned around the feeder needed a new part here and a new accessory there. Nickle and dime you to death.

Course that is just my experience, your results could vary.

JHAP, I had concerns as soon as it arrived since it didn't come with a manual or warranty.

I only need one feeder so I suppose if it bring home another in a few years I'll just use it as structure in the bottom of the pond.

Ryan we have the same model, just mine has one less chromosome. The feeder has switched from rocks to fish food. Although the rock makes better sounds the fish response has impressed the feeder. Pretty consistent, throws most every evening, not much response on morning feedings. I can say this we sell many feeders but our models give you the most joy!

I hope you meant that your model has a "Y" chromosome (and an "X") whereas Ryan's has two "X"'s. Now then, Wyatt's daddy may have one less chromosome, but I think his daddy actually has an extra chromosome.

That's what you get when you feed the fish cat litter.

Those are the handiest buckets for storing feed. They're just the right size, stack well, and make a nice seat. I must have started a trend with the ice fishing crowd because last year I probably saw a dozen other guys using them.

Ryan, that photo looks like a great screen saver for you. Keep 'em fishing! Once I open up a sack of feed I place it in those large plastic Meow mix or Deli cat plastic jugs. It stays fresh for a long time. Good idea feeding from the kitty litter box.

Yep those line of feeders don't come with either. But like Greg said those feeders are a heck of a lot of fun.
