I'm thinking of buying the 8ft Pelican Bass Raider or the Sportman Mini Bass Boat. It will be used almost exclusively with a trolling motor on my 2 1/2 ac pond. Also have a 180 acre reservoir nearby that allows only trolling motors. Unlikely I'd have a passenger. Small size and cost make me think I need a new toy! I'm concerned both might be VERY unstable. Could those of you who own either of these boats comment?
