We were out fishing last night (late) and the catfish were very, very active. They were all over the pond surface skimming the surface in circles, big circles. Tried to catch one but I'm not the best fisherman as the one I did catch got off my line. Is this common for catfish to gather on the surface dancing on the water surface?
We did manage earlier in the day to catch and release one of the albino catfish--they're weird looking, almost pinkish white with blue eyes. Any body else out there put albinos in their pond?
