Well I figured I was heading for a fish kill and I was right.  960 RT stocked in late may at 5" in my 30ac lake. We had a storm wed afternoon 2+" of rain and lots of marble sized hail. Went out one hour ago and picked up everything I could (105 in all). I was kind of excited how big they were 10-13" also found one of my 21 catchable perch.

Sorry to hear that...Had fish kill 3 weeks ago..30 cnb after a 2 inch rain after many days of hot still weather...man, that would have been some good eats...

I will not be answering any questions or replies until monday night so have a good weekend everyone. I am pretty much unphazed by my fish kill because one of my neighbors 6 year old son was killed in a quading accident last night so my problems don't even count.

Yes I am..I put in 800 and lost 30..so that is not too bad..unless I lost some that didn't float...the fish are back to feeding and continue to grow...these hot days down here with little wind scare me...I hope it doesn't happen again...

Well that is good jeffh.
I went out this afternoon and found another 150 (250 total)trout on the shores. I hope to go sit on my dock if the wind dies down later on to see if there are still some jumping.

Sorry to hear about the additional loss..We might get some rain from the tropical storm hitting Texas, hopefully not enough to cause an additional fish kill...nothing more relaxing than sitting on the dock/pier looking at the pond..(except for when there are dead fish around)..
