What a hoot! I've had the Texas Hunter feeder going since Father's day, and it has performed flawlessly. The fish took to the feed on the first day, but now they are addicted. The schools of BG swim back and forth in front of the feeder, all day long. I'm feeding twice a day, for 10 seconds each time. Conventional wisdom says to feed enough for them to eat for 15 minutes. The 10 second feed time seems to do that, but if I wait 20 minutes and feed them again, they will eat it all again. Should I be feeding longer? Here they are hanging out... waiting for the dinner bell.  They actually keep a path through the weeds in front of the feeder clear, so that they can get every pellet!  Action shot of pellet inhalation... Gulp!  And finally, my best bass of the weekend.... a decent 15 incher. Funny thing... this bass has a scar on his side, so he is easily recognizable. I caught him 4 times over two days. He must not be very smart.... he kept biting the same lure!  And my daughter's best bass of the weekend.... a chunky 12 incher.  The pond is down almost 3.5 feet now.... This Texas summer is brutal. It was almost too hot to fish this weekend. GaryTexas

chunky bream. I would feed 2 more times mid morning and noon. You have the makings of some big ole bluegill by fall. The first bass is a little stunted, a recipe for big bream. I suspect that this fall, with water low and lots of baby bluegill, your bass will put on some good weight. Good job. I NEED a Tx. Hunter.

I suggest if budget allows adding in more feedings. Maybe 7, 11, 5, 8 with 7 secs each feeding. This only added 8 secs to your 20 sec total but better for the bluegill.

Thanks for the input, guys.
I'll bump up the feeding times to 4 times a day, with 7 seconds per time.
The way the BG are acting, I don't think much feed will go to waste.
Even some of the bass are eating the pellets. Not all, but some of the bass are really pigging out on the stuff.
