I am wanting to use my pond to water my garden, any suggestions on what kind of pump to use to accomplich this task, It will be an intial down hill run (the dam) then flatten out with about 16 inches of rise for about 20 feet gradually, then gradually down hill again. I am wanting to use a regular garden hose and would not need so much pressure to use a sprinkler but that would be nice if I could. I do not want to spend 4 or 5 hunded dollars for I pump I have that option already taken care of. Als does anyone see any problems with this idea besides bacteria growing in the hoses? Water issue is not a problem there is plenty.
