Greg, how do I order a Texas Hunter and solar charger from/through you? One of your older posts (from 2002 I think) identifies a website but that site only lists the Aqua Pro feeders.

I still have the ADF 75's and the Fat Cats listed for sale, because I still have 7 of them in stock to get rid of!
I refuse to sell them locally and am hesitant to liquidate them on Ebay, cause I dont want any bad feedback. What can I do, Can't afford to throw them out?

Phil, I have been working on a new site and to spite selling TX Hunter for awhile they are not online. The new site will be complete as soon as we are not swamped with fishery work. Thanks and feel to just call 770-735-3523 or email greg@lakework.com thanks Randy

Nate we need to have a contest I will see if I can sell my 3 before you sell your 7. My money is on you. I bet we will both beat Shawn out of selling his inventory.

I know I am chiming in late on this post but one thing about the AquaPro’s is not only are some of them not working right out of the box, but when you have to try to fix them it takes forever. Having to remove two of the legs and the bottom panel in the field, especially when it is 95 degrees is not fun. Unfortunately I have had do this many times making for very long days, just ask Greg. It also does not make the best business decision to bring them back to the office to fix and then take them back to the lake with gas prices being so high. Also, the hole in the bottom of the feeder that is supposedly to help with moisture just allows rats to find a nice cozy home with plentiful food. I can’t count how many feeders I have fixed because of rats chewing on the wires. I have some good pictures of rat damage because of that hole in the bottom of the feeder. The Texas Hunters have a door on the side that allows easy access to the wiring and motors and the bottom of the feeder has very small holes to keep rats and wasp out. Haven’t had to fix a Texas Hunter feeder yet, might never have to, but I am kind of looking forward to it after working on countless Aquapros. Greg also mentioned one client (among many) ordered a feeder and it never worked out of the box. Unfortunately I told the guy what was going on with the 75D’s and that I recommended Texas Hunters and that he would get what he paid for. After looking at the manufactures websites he called back wanting to get the 75D because of the price, so I guess he got what he paid for. Sounded like it was the timer and he is calling the 800 number. Haven’t heard back from him so hopefully they resolved the issue. Bad thing is that they are so much cheaper than the Texas Hunter and Sweeney feeders it has been hard not to sell them to customers no matter how much info you give them.

Chose to liquidate them on Ebay. After all this nice publicity about the new 75's, anyone interested in picking up some feeders for about 30-40% off of retail, just bid away! Probably gonna fetch $250-$280 each.

Hey guys they still come with a 4 yr warranty. All you have to do is get BA to ship you a timer that works and your probaby in business. I think I may try them out and if timer does not work get the new timers coming to fix the issue then take them to feed deer in KY or sell as used at a discount as well.

Burgermeister's setup. Describe for us, Burger? Bruce, I just now saw this post. Sorry, its not a very good pic. but notice the solar panel on left side of feeder. The blue basket also keeps the rain off the front of the feeder. Drill a hole in the low side of the channel of the basket so it will drain. 5 gal. Igloo cooler to keep the heat and humidity down. I also secured a bag of dessicent inside the top cover to take up moisture. I first placed the basket over it because there are 2 vertical channels on the rim of the cover which slips inside the cooler. This caused a leak inside. There is a 10 gallon round cooler made, which has a screw on lid. I will still use the basket to help keep front of feeder mechanism dry. Crude, but effective. The ring is just to catch the short flyers.

Hi, Warren.
Are you by any chance selling the "All Seasons Directional 500 air powered feeder"?

With the new timers the 75Ds seem to be working. I have one that is wired with 2 1270 batteries in parallel for longer run life. Any comments on this and possible alternatives ? Still have one with an assumed bad top motor.

Eric tried out the new one we brought you or just waiting until spring?
BTW since this thread began we now only have one new 75D aquapro left as I told Eric it may work great if not it is under warranty and easy to repalce a timer. I will let it go for $300.
I like the moultrie as an alternative to a $400 feeder, but the TX HUnter is BY far my favorite no complaints EVER.
