When is the BG spawn? Do they spawn more then ounce a year?

In your location BG spawn from March to Sept +- . Yes they spawn more than once a year in your location.

They can even spawn twice a year or more up here in the north (Northern Indiana). I have had males on and off the beds since early June here in my big pond that has no females. "Rolling spawn."

You could easily get 3 or 4 spawns in SE Texas.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
