I had tilapia fry hatch out two days ago and was going to put some in an aquarium. What do I feed them and how often. I think I might have 75 or so. They are in a 15 gallon tank. What size should they reach before I put them in a bigger tank? Ricky.

This is what is being fed in my project and working well. Hermit crab meal- is real fine texture and 47% protien. Flake food for aquariums and when they get larger AquaMax pellets.
Hope that helps.

The fish farm I buy my fish from grinds up aquamax into a very fine meal and feeds it to all of their fry.

I grind up fish food flakes between my fingers for my aquarium fish. I would assume it would work for your tilapia.
