Triying to get rid of eurasian milfoil, tried cutrine plus and littora neither one worked. How long should i wait before trying navigate?
I don't want to kill the fish by using to many chemicals to soon.

One of the most important rules of thumb in controling aquatic vegetation is to use the right herbicide for the species the first time.

Used the cutrine plus for fa About 5 weeks ago. It worked for the fa.
Used the littora forthe milfoil 1-2 weeks ago. Did not seem to do anything for it.

My bad. The way you had it worded it sounded like you tried both to control the milfoil.

Littora's "active ingredient" is diquat dibromide. Most people know the popular chemcial, Reward, which also contains the diquat. You should be good to go considering your application was over 1 week ago.

I often do mix cutrine plus with diquat to control millfoil. Biggest key to applying products like those above is to treat early in the morning on a sunny day! If you treat when you come home from work, it isnt going to work.

What kind of effect does using chemicals such as Diquat and Cutrine Plus have on the application of beneficial bacteria and enzymes? If you spray either of the chemicals will that impact the effectiveness of either of the treatments. If you should wait to apply the enzymes how long should you wait?

I just figure it is better to create the habitat for the bacteria and enzymes that are already in your pond to colonize as opposed to buying them and putting them in every 2 weeks. Floating islands and barley straw are good hosts to help colonize.
