I remember riding my tractor a while back, mowing a field. I had a very sore shoulder, and the deerflies were biting. One would bite my back, I would say "OW!", and swat at it, and say "OW!" again as I aggravated my sore shoulder. Those patches sound like a great solution.
Gee, I hope no deerflies were hurt in making that photograph.
