With only 2900 hours on the machine, it should serve you well for many years. Those are pretty low hours for a 1983. The price is also very good for a machine with that few hours. It does look like it was repainted, but the tires appear to be in good shape. Most hydraulic leaks are not a major problem, but it should be attended to.
