pumpkinseed is what i was thinking. its not common in CA. it was caught from a reservoir up near oregon border that was also stocked w/ yellow perch (which is also not common out here).

eric, not my blood \:\) a guy on my OTHER forum caught the fish. i'll tell him to check for the "extra" teeth next he goes up there.
