Matt, the pond will be shaped like a rabbit's head, the ears will be deep coves for easy fishing. One of the ears should be easy to build, it's the original channel about 5' deep already. The other ear will be tricky as they will be pushing more dirt.
B'Ski, the depth is 13' on the left side of the island, about 10' on the right, it may briefly go under at full pool, but in my location, that's not going to be a problem.
