Whoever stopped in San Antonio and decided it would be a nice place to start a city must've had a lobotomy immediately beforehand. It marks the dividing line between the arid hill country and the coastal plains. To the west/northwest is the 100+ dry heat, and to the southeast is the thick, soupy gulf air. We get both.
Speaking on behalf of the state of Ohio, we will take an even swap - San Antonio for Cleveland. We get The Alamo and all those (ex?) Air Force bases, Texas gets the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and The Only Damn River in the World That Burns.
P.S. We will throw in the Chamber of Commerce-approved slogan, "The Last Resort"
