Just was in the mood to share some pics.

Ducks on Floating Island. They live there now.

Thanks! Its always easy to get good pics when you have great material and when you have good equipment. Its been fun here this spring with all of the wildlife around.

Eric,

Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

I've found that one of the most satisfying and amazing aspects of my pond is watching it come alive. It seems that almost every month, something new has discovered it and made it their home.

For me, just mowing around it is allot of fun. I have wood ducks landing in there, deer feeding and so many birds that we've become bird watchers. 60 different species of birds so far!!!!

It's not how many ideas you have, but how many you make happen.

Eddie, sounds like my pond. In the am I have the wood ducks, afternoon the Mallards and evening the herons. I regularly see the Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles there as well as deer, racoons, ...etc

I originally wanted the pond for fishing but now I am having more fun with the wildlife and creating the eco system that I don't fish the pond at all.

Eddie:

Love the pics...we've got Can geese on our island, for the third year, whether wifey likes it or not.

Besides, this is what I've been watching 12 feet from my 2nd floor gun room for the past couple of weeks...

She laid the eggs couple weeks ago, (I think) and I guess they hatched last week while I was in Nashville. Hope she takes good care of the little ones while I'm in Atlanta.

In a lifetime, the average driver will honk 15,250 times. My wife figures I'm due to die any day now...
