i wish i could say i caught it, but i didnt. a fella on my OTHER forum recently caught this beautiful fish in lake crowley on the east side of the sierras.....
JHAP learned of a fish farm that had these, south of me a ways, but the guy wanted $$$$ to supply them. its an outstanding example, the only indigenous "perch" on the left coast, and judging by the mouth size, looks like it would nicely fill a niche between BG and bass.....kinda like big GSF, although they are reported to grow to 28-inches.
