Anyone know a source in Northern Oklahoma? The FA is already starting to get thick!

Thanks,
Shawn

Have you had any success with Tilapia in Northern Oklahoma? I am the Tulsa area and have thought about stocking some for bass forage.

Shawn, get in touch with Lusk. He will have the answer.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I have several Blue and a few Red Tilapias. They are getting too big for my aquariums. Just PM me.

Not yet. I have been wanting to try them for a while now and I am finally trying to get ahead of the curve. A couple of years ago I found a supplier in Kansas, but lost his contact info and never hooked up with him. Trying again this year.

Well, I finally got the tilapia stocked. I was afraid for a couple of days that a turn in the weather was going to make it an expensive mistake, but now the water is nearly 70 degrees and day before yesterday I saw several of them cruising the shoreline. We stocked everything from 5" fish to a few big 8-9" fish. Just in time, too, as the FA is starting to make a run for it. I now have 50 lbs of tilapia and 8 grass carp in my 5 acre pond, so we shall see how we do.

How did this work out for you?

Where did you get your Tilapia from?

Did you ever decide to raise them indoors?
