Here's one in PA run by Kevin Schultz of Shultz's Fish Farm. Tell Kevin Cecil Baird from Indiana sent ya.

BTW, you should be able to go to each state's department of natural resources (Fish & Boat Commission in PA) and get a list of private fish producers for each state.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Are you in west, central, or east PA?. Zett's Fish Hatchery (north central) is a big seller in PA and the eastern states. BE careful of what he tells you and carefully double check his advice it is often "fishy".

Pulled this off the PA Fish ans Boat Comm. website

I want to purchase fish for my pond, can you tell me where I can buy them?
Commercial Propagators (legally authorized to sell fish), are regulated by the Department of Agriculture. A list of propagators is maintained by their Division of Aquaculture, 717-783-6792.

Also it was good to see a link to Pondboss in the Pond management section

Barry- Check out this place in southeast central Ohio. Relatively good quality fish can be purchased there. They are the biggest supplier of larger sized fish in Ohio. They do deliver and sometimes sell fish at OH and WVA counties close to PA. Call or email them for information. http://fendersfishhatchery.com/

Barry, my pond is in Somerset PA about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh. I've got my fish from Keystone Aquaculture. They're near Harrisburg, and they do deliver. I've got LMB, SMB, Bluegill, channel cats, Hybrid SB, crayfish, shiners, fatheads, three types of trout, etc. from them. They also have other fish such as grass carp.

Call 717-834-6772 and ask for John Sproch. You may have to leave a message, or even try back as he's busy.

I've been pleased with his service. However, I believe that you have to understand that you're buying a live product, and you have to keep your schedule flexible for when the fish truck arrives.

Good luck.

"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."
