I haven't graduated yet, and I haven't taken my field limn course yet. I have been lectured on alkalinity, and understand the concept. But I don't know if you use a test kit, a probe, a color changing strip. A YSI can measure alkanlinity, right?
I will do some looking into BG/forage production as a function primary production, it seems like it could be an important, if inexact measure of secondary or tertiary production.
