i dont see why not bruce, it was posted on several boards on the other forum, .....its a famous little fish now.
cecil, those big pardee smallies love 8-12 inch freshly stocked and confused rainbow trout in hindsight, i should have stayed near the marina during the DFG stocking with swimbait rod ready to go.

Yeah I hear they are a great forage for the largemouths out their too. In my area the biggest northerns come from the lakes that are stocked with rainbow trout. The eventual state record spit up a 24 inch rainbow in a DNR tank when they brought it back for observation. They think it was the same fish that eventually became the state record as it has a damaged maxilary bone and it seemed to be the same fish when I mounted it.
Of course the northerns also ge bigger in the deeper colder lakes as they become coldwater fish apparently when they get large.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
