I hope to start my pond this year and I'm considering having a geo-thermal HVAC system installed using coils at the bottom of the pond. Does anyone have experience with this and know of any potential drawbacks that I might not be thinking of? I haven't found any information on the web as to wether the process has any effect on the pond's water temperature? I assume it doesn't, but I'm no scientist or contractor?
